RQA Library

Inside the RQA Library

The RQA Library is a vibrant hub of discovery, imagination, and learning — home to over 1,000 English-language titles. Our collection spans fiction, non-fiction, encyclopedias, and reference materials, offering something for every reader and every interest.

To support student growth, books are thoughtfully organized using Scholastic and Lexile reading levels, making it easy for students to find titles that both challenge and inspire them at the right stage of their development.

Beyond English titles, our library also offers:

  • Arabic books

  • Lisan ud-Dawat activities

  • Math puzzles and educational games

  • Interactive learning resources

We are especially proud of our Uloom Qauniyah book sets in Science and Geography, which our teachers use to thoughtfully integrate deen into daily academic studies — helping students see the connection between faith and the world around them.

The RQA Library is more than just shelves of books. It is a space for engagement and community through programs such as:

  • Mystery Reader

  • Reading Buddies

  • And other interactive literacy initiatives

Through these programs, we nurture curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading in every student.

A Day in RQA

A Day in the Life of Our Students

Each school day begins with purpose, reflection, and intention. Our students start their morning with Hifz, followed by Dirasat Islamiyah, grounding them in Islamic knowledge and values before transitioning into their academic studies.

From there, the day unfolds into a balanced blend of spiritual growth, academic learning, and hands-on experiences.

A Typical Day at Our Madrasah

Hifz & Dirasat Islamiyah
Students begin their day strengthening their connection to the Qur’an through Hifz, followed by structured Dirasat Islamiyah classes that deepen their understanding of faith and practice.

Tilawat u Dua
Tilawat u Dua takes place during class time, and on Fridays students gather in the auditorium for a collective recitation, fostering unity and reflection.

Friday Assembly
Our Friday assemblies are a highlight of the week. Students present on various topics and subjects, building confidence, public speaking skills, and pride in their learning.

Engaging Academic Instruction

Our academic program is thoughtfully designed to keep learning interactive and meaningful:

  • Social Studies – Students explore our country and state, building awareness of history, geography, and civic responsibility.

  • Science – Hands-on experiments and labs allow students to investigate, question, and discover.

  • Reading & Writing (Language Arts) – Students participate in both group and independent reading. Reading logs and reward points encourage a lifelong love of books.

  • Language Arts Stations – Teacher-led instruction combined with individualized learning stations ensures that every child receives the support they need.

  • Mathematics – Through hands-on activities, such as learning how to read clocks and tell time, students build strong foundational skills in an engaging way.

Daily Namaaz & Practical Learning

Elementary students are taught wudu and namaaz step by step, nurturing confidence in their daily worship. Secondary students gather in the auditorium for congregational namaaz, strengthening discipline and community bonds.

Electives & Enrichment (SEL)

To conclude the day, students participate in electives and enrichment classes that develop creativity, physical well-being, and life skills. Offerings include:

  • Calligraphy

  • Art

  • Physical Education

  • Library

  • Arabic Language

  • Public Speaking & Speech

  • And many more rotating activities

Our goal each day is to create a nurturing environment where students grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Through a balanced schedule of faith-centered learning, rigorous academics, and enriching activities, we strive to develop confident, knowledgeable, and compassionate individuals.
